Parking

The Bullpen and The Dairy have their own parking space just a few metres from the door.

Laundry & Drying Service

There is a fully equipped laundry in the courtyard, with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron, plus Belfast sink for hand washing and two drying racks with radiator on 24hrs a day.  A washing line can also be hooked up in the courtyard.

Arrival and departure times

You can arrive any time after 4 pm. Please bear in mind that finding us in the dark may be tricky.  If you are arriving late, please let us know. We ask that you leave by 10 am on your day of departure to allow time for cleaning.

Gardens

We are happy for our guests to wander anywhere in the gardens, where there are lots of places to sit and relax. You are welcome to take glasses and plates into the garden for a picnic by the lake or in the summerhouse.

Barbecues

There is a built-in barbecue down by the lake which you are welcome to use. Charcoal, matches and barbecue utensils are in the summerhouse. Please make sure you clean the barbecue and utensils after use.

Cleaning

We will change sheets and towels and do a clean and tidy for guests staying longer than one week, at a convenient time. We can also arrange for extra cleaning during your stay, charged at £15 per hour.

Freezer space

There is extra freezer space in the large freezer in the laundry.

Cooking in your apartment

Please put the extractor fan on when cooking and, if there are likely to be any strong cooking smells, e.g., grease, please open the window too. This will prevent smells penetrating the soft furnishings and help us to keep the apartment smelling fresh for future guests.

Supermarket deliveries

We can take delivery of your supermarket shopping and put perishables in the fridge before your arrival.

Catering

We can organise champagne, chocolates, flowers and food to be delivered and placed in your apartment before your arrival. A local fishmonger visits on Monday morning with the day’s fresh catch from Newlyn market. Local produce is available from farmer’s markets and farm shops—information is in your apartment and will be sent prior to arrival.
